Notes

A facetious advertisement with intentionally appalling spelling (part of the joke being that they offer "young gentlemen also taut their grammer langwage in the neetest maner"). The main joke is that the barber surgeon often offered to do a very wide range of things (Fac-totum = does everything). The content of the selection listed here is intentionally excessively diverse and absurd.
A version of this was issued in about 1785 with different spelling. 'The little a' printers were at 42 Bishopsgate Street between 1785-1790.
