About this work

Description

Dr. Wyatt's notebook, titled Chemistry: Nucleic Acids etc., written during his time at the Laboratory of Insect Pathology, Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, Canada. This book contains further tests on bacteriophage DNA and includes Wyatt's investigation in to the content of Cx, a component that he found in some nucleic acid samples. The Cx nucleotide was later found to be 5-hydoxymethylcytosine and was the subject of several papers written by Wyatt alongside S. S. Cohen, published in 1952.
