Letters received from the General Register Office London, Dublin, and from the Register General, Edinburgh, advising Galton on the prices and procedures for requesting searches, and forwarding copies of search application forms and the various Registration Acts (see GALTON/2/4/6/2 and GALTON/2/4/6/3).

Galton's notes on the Registration Acts, parish registers, 1837 births and marriages in the district of Marylebone in the County of Middlesex, lists of diseases, and notes made from Richard Sims, A Manual for the Genealogist (London: J R Smith; 1856).
