Relief from the Mortuary Chapel of Ramose, Egypt from c.1380 B.C. showing one of the daughters of Ramose wearing a wig. The photograph was acquired by Captain Johnston-Saint, a Wellcome Historical Medical Museum employee who travelled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and India purchasing items for the museum. It was accessioned in 935 (accession number PHO 2394)
