Reproduction of a photograph of a doctor cupping a patient, holding a knife, ready to cut the blisters, published in Aesculape, February 1938. A copy of the Aesculape reproduction was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1939 (accession number PHO 11537)
