Description

Two negatives bound together. The first is a photograph of a human skull displaying a trepanation hole. The skull was found at Giebichenstein, Germany and at the time the photograph was taken was held by the Museum for Pre and Early History, Berlin. A photographic print of the skull was also held by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, accessioned in 1947 (accession number PHO 13023). The second is a photograph of a human skull displaying a trepanation hole. At the time the photograph was taken the skull was held by the Museum for Pre and Early History, Berlin. A photographic print of the skull was also held by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, accessioned in 1947 (accession number PHO 13024)
