An introcuction to the French-tongue, or, The new and compleat french spelling-book. In two parts. The first containing a gradual and easy introduction to the knowledge of the alphabet and spelling, in which the pronunciation is taught by a similarity of letters that produce the like sounds in English; with suitable lessons, gradually ascending from words of one syllable to the highest, in a regular and easy praxis. A list of words alike in sound, but different in significations, &c. with fables from s̆op, ornamented with suitable designs, and adapted to the capacities of youth. the whole calculated and drawn up in a simple and easy manner, for the better introduction into the knowledge of the French language.
