8 February 1895, p. 137 (notice referring to Burroughs from the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain);

8 February, 1895, pp. 144-5 ("Death of Mr S M Burroughs" - also present as a reprinted paper);

15 February, 1895, p. 169 ("The Late Mr S M Burroughs," referring to the Memorial Service at Dartford and to a "Proposed Memorial"). Also, a single-sheet b/w photographic supplement to the issue comprising a three-quarter-length portrait of Burroughs (identical to the tinted photograph of Burroughs in WF/E/02/03/06), to which a brief note is attached: "Mr Burroughs was in New York looking for a factory in 1889 / The Standard / New York / 10 August 1889." The (anonymous) note refers to Henry George's account (published in The Standard, 1889) of the opening of Phoenix Mills, Dartford - for which, see WF/E/02/02/33.
