  • Elderton, Ethel Mary (1878–1954), statistician and researcher. After receiving her doctorate, she became Assistant Professor in the Galton Laboratory shortly before her retirement in 1933.

Manuscript letter. Concerning publication of a book Primer of Statistics which she wrote with her brother, William Palin Elderton, in 1909. Galton wrote the preface. Hoped that Galton would like it. Galton sent his Essays in Eugenics.
