Biographical note

"The Century Speaks" was a BBC Millennium oral history project aimed at capturing the experiences of the past 100 years through the voices of people who lived through it. 8000 people were interviewed about how they and their communities have changed and the recordings were gathered under 16 headings including "belonging", "crime and the law", "growing up", "money", "technology", "life and death" and "what's next".
