Description
Image of two spy glass probably made in th eighteenth century. The one on the left has a shagreen body and brass mounts and the one on the right has a vellum body and wood mounts. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (accession numbers 67370 and 67389). The items are not held by Wellcome Collection.
