A copy of Bisset's Essay on the medical constitution of Great Britain, with 55 additional pages of case and other notes in his own hand (lot 177 in the same Sotheby sale) is now in the Owen H Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine, University of Minnesota. A further copy of Bisset's Medical essays and observations, with manuscript appendices and 'A brief narrative of the author's life, by himself is owned by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
