Description
Galton's notes on a proposed new system of decimal currency, which includes the introduction of new coins, called quints, worth one fifth of a penny, and one and three cent pieces, worth one hundredth and three hundredths of a pound respectively. Contains rough notes and two manuscript copies outlining the scheme, as well as a letter from Archibald Smith with comments on the proposal.
