Reproduction of a map of South America showing Columbia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia. Possibly a map showing the cinchona bark districts of South America, and their port of export, from Tschirch's Handbook [Handbuch der Pharmakognosie] lent by Professor A. Tschirch (of the Pharmaceutical Institute of the University of Berne) as listed in the souvenir catalogue for <i>Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930</i>, an exhibition hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930. The map is possibly listed as exhibit no. 460 in the souvenir catalogue. The item is not held by Wellcome Collection.
