Description

Letter is written in Italian. The letter thanks Pontecorvo for two articles. These were the first articles Ponte wrote on cells in culture. G. Levi was a pioneer of tissue culture, and an extremely important figure in his field. Three Nobel Prize winners, Salvador Luria, Rita Levi-Montalcini and Renato Dulbecco had trained in his lab and he participated in the initial work of Levi-Montalcini.
