Photograph of a Bangongo traditional healer from the Congo area of Central Africa. The photograph was published in a work by Emil Torday and Thomas Athol Joyce and a reproduction was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and accessioned in 1933 (accession number PHO 1673).
