Description

Letter from Francis Galton to Dalzell, with instructions that it be distributed to Galton's friends. The letter is dated 05 December, and Galton discusses his travels, the conflict with the Namaqua, problems with lions, breaking in oxen, and trouble with his men. A postscript is added dated 28 February, in which Galton describes his meeting with the captain of the Namaqua. A clipping of a newspaper article based on the text of this letter has been pasted to the back of it.
