Description

Pontecorvo's talk was originally broadcast on 29 April 1955 on the Third Programme BBC service. It was then recorded in November and offered to the Italian Radio for their series International University of the Air,through the BBC transcription service. There are two draft talks; one in Italian and one in English, as well as correspondence (in Italian and English) between Pontecorvo and various progamme assistants and programme editors at the BBC.
