Description

Correspondence regarding a visit to Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, 20 October, 1968, on the occasion of the School's Day of Dedication and Inauguration.

Speaker's at the morning colloquium were Crick, Linus Pauling, Sir Peter Medawar and George Beadle. Crick delivered an address with the title "Molecular Biology and Medical Research," subsequently published, with some reluctance (see letter of 30 September to Dr George James), in Journal of the Mount Sinai Hospital, 36 (1969). The file contains the text (typescript) of Crick's address.
