    About this work

    Description

Slideshow and video of pictures and captions charting the journey of "the rake" from first taking heroin, meeting his girlfriend, undertaking various acts in order to acquire more heroin, and jumping into the river with his girlfriend. It was one of three series of pictures produced by Beales to show the problems caused by the closure of care in the community support resources such as occupational therapy and day centres.
