Description
Correspondence with the public about their experiences of the National Health Service as a patient, or as the relative or friend of a patient. The letters were received in response to an article in The Sun newspaper about a forthcoming Granada television series on the NHS 'At Your Service', to be transmitted in early 1973. It was hoped that the series of programmes would provide a guide to the NHS, how to use it advantageously, emphasising the citizen's need to understand the service and his rights and obligations as a subscriber.
