Photgraph of an illustration from a tenth century surgical manuscript held by Laurentian Library Florence (Codex LXXIV), a commentary of Apollonius of Kitium on the Hippocratic Treatise of disocation. The photograph was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1929 and accessioned in 1935 (accession number PHO 2275).
