1 autograph letter, signed, from J.H. Davies to "Thompson" concerning Hickman's pamphlet on anaesthesia, accompanied by a descriptive label from Museum exhibition (giving Davies' initials as "T.H."). "Thompson" is almost certainly Charles John Samuel Thompson (1862-1943), medical librarian and Wellcome employee.
