"In the community" art

Comprises: a list of works for a 2010 art auction including eight works by Beales; a piece of writing titled "Care in the Community"; a manuscript for Speedfreaks of Amphetamine Alley containing captions and prints from Beales' "The Alley" series of pictures; sketches for his Rakes Progress series; and sketches and prints of final versions of works from his "St Giles Circus" series. These series of pictures were produced by Beales to show the problems caused by the closure of care in the community support resources such as occupational therapy and day centres
