Letter from Erasmus Darwin to Violetta Galton, regarding a medical case described by a Mr Berrington in the enclosure, presumably forwarded by Violetta Galton to Darwin. The case concerns a woman, her sister and maid falling sick due to infected linen. Darwin's reply is sarcastic in tone.
