Description
Letter from Darwin to Francis Galton. "A young Mr Balfour" [biologist Francis Maitland Balfour] was staying with the Darwins and had expressed an interest in breeding rabbits to investigate the theory of pangenisis. Darwin asks Galton which coat colours in rabbits were most likely to breed true.
