Biographical note
In a number of cases Honor Fell's association with these bodies was represented solely by an accumulation of minutes agendas and other circulated papers: the Rheumatism Committee of the Oliver Bird Fund of the Nuffield Foundation, the Cambridge University Cancer Research Committee of the British Empire Cancer Campaign, and the Medical Research Council Working Party on Malaria Antigens. As the records of these bodies are available elsewhere, the papers have been weeded. In some cases material relating to Fell's connection with particular bodies is to be found on SA/SRL files re Funding or of General Correspondence, where there was a wider Strangeways association with the body in question.
