Comprises Orders 1-89, 5 April 1853-29 July 1886, the last being the 'Farewell Order of Punjab Government to Punjab Frontier Force', in which Ross is mentioned (p.92). The orders concers commendations for bravery, distinguished service, long service, etc. Printed forwarding notice from Secretary to Government, Punjab, 16th Apr 1887, pasted onto inside of front cover; annotated received by Ross 23 May 1887, on facing page. Pasted onto the first page of Orders (p. 1) is a printed extract of complimentary orders mentioning Assistant-Surgeon Ross, 21 Jan 1852-Oct 1855, praising his bravery, professional skill, benevolence and popularity during his service in the 1st Punjab Cavalry.
