Description

Comprises diaries, pocket and engagement books, and a passport belonging to Francis Galton. The diaries cover the years 1836, 1843, and 1853, and also serve as almanacs. The pocket and engagement books cover the years 1854, 1878, 1897, 1898, and 1904-1906, and contain details of engagements, appointments, travel plans and general notes and observations. The passport contains travel stamps for the period 1845-1849.
