About this work

Description

Correspondence with members of British Insulin Manufacturers, and with Markby, Stewart & Wadesons (Solicitors), spanning January to October, 1951.

The purpose of the Enquiry was to ensure that supplies of insulin were available to the diabetic community without interruption, despite the constraints of war. Manufacturers exchanged full technical information about their processes and visited each other's manufacturing plants.
