Description

Original fingerprints used by Galton as illustrations in one of his publications, set as he intended the plates to appear. Copies of fingerprints showing loops and whorls and the effects of burns, scars and skin grafts. Card showing the "Standard Patterns of Purkenje" (sic). Copies of fingerprints of Sir W J Herschel taken at various intervals and a photographs of the Bengali contract signed with a handprint, see GALTON/2/9/6/5/2/2 for the original.
