Description

Correspondence regarding a Meeting of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), held at Konstanz, Germany, 27-30 November, 1969. Crick attended but did not present a formal paper.

The subject of the Meeting was the planning of a European Laboratory of Molecular Biology, an issue addressed in a Draft Report prepared by the Department of Education and Science (May 1969), a copy of which was circulated to all attending and can be found in the file.

The file includes a photograph (b/w, 6" x 4"), showing the Meeting in progress, Crick seated to the left.
