Photograph of an ophthalmoscope of the type designed by Richard Liebreich c.1860. The principal features of the Instrument are a concave speculum of metal and a hinged lens carrier. It was presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1914 and accessioned in 1950 (accession number R47/1950)
