Secretary's correspondence

The correspondence falls into two groups: individual subject correspondence and general correspondence. The majority of the former appear to have survived from TR Elliott’s period as Secretary, 1935-1944, and deal with all aspects of the administration of the work of the Trust. They are arranged here in chronological order, as no original significant order was evident. The general correspondence files deal with more routine matters of administration, 1945-1992, and are also arranged chronologically.
