About this work

Description

Holograph and typescript drafts of the joint response by Orgel, Crick and Sapienza, beginning "Difficulties have been caused by the words...," Nature, 288 (18/25 December, 1980), 645-6.

The file also contains Dover and Doolittle (typescripts with corrections), "Modes of genome evolution," from the same issue of Nature (646-7), and James A Shapiro and Willem G Roskam (photocopy typescript), "On selfish DNA," a text clearly intended for publication in Nature although it does not appear to have been selected.
