About this work

Description

This file includes correspondence from L.L.Weed regarding Wyatt's work on base content of bacteriophage nucleic acids. Alongside this letter are results on Wyatt's experiments on the T2, T4 and T6 viruses and tables of the mean averages of these tests. The file also contains results on the recovery of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (HMC) from thymus DNA. HMC is a base that Wyatt, alongside S.S. Cohen identified as being present in DNA of some organisms. Also in the file are several tables of compiled results, graphs and data from UV spectra.
