Two images on one negative: the first is an etching by R. Clee, c.1750, after J. de Lajoue, c.1735, showing a chemist, surrounded by symbols and instruments of chemistry, advertising Richard Siddall, chemist in London. Related images: V0025575, L0004346. The other is an etching by T. Rowlandson after himself after T. Smollett showing Mrs Lavement arriving back home late after the theatre with Captain O'Donnel causing Mr Lavement (an apothecary) much anger and jealousy. Related images: V0010789
