Correspondence with the Federation of Local Pharmaceutical Associations

Copy letter (4 September, 1902) to Burroughs Wellcome & Co from the Federation of Local Pharmaceutical Associations, with robust reply (29 September, 1902). Refers to a particular BW&Co enclosure ("Imp of Darkness") and to a particular advertisement (both attached) warning against substitution and piracy. The Federation is "instructed by an unanimous meeting to draw your attention to the sweeping nature of the charges made upon the honesty of the general Drug Trade...."
