Correspondence and notes relating chiefly to the history of King’s College London and DNA research, including manuscript chart in Wilkins’ handwriting, entitled ‘Roots of double helix’ laying out chronologically the developments, 1900-1950, in physics, physical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry and biology, that led to the discovery of the structure of DNA. Also copy letter from Sydney Evans, Dean of King’s College London, to the editor, The Listener magazine, 15 Jan 1976, refuting statements by Aaron Klug concerning the history of King’s College London.
