Description

Question of liability of such cases to acute pulmonary oedema from blood transfusion. Cuttings on transfusion of blood by the peritoneum or corpora cavernosum penis as emergency routes. Other dangers of blood transfusion in renal and icteric cases etc ('Megaloblastic anaemia of children'). Leukaemia inflammation of testis. 'Mothball' anaemia in children. Various and obscure blood diseases and haemorrhagic conditions (including question of 'saturnine anaemia') in children. Fanconi type of familial refractory anaemia in children. Erythroblastic anaemia in 'Cooley's anaemia' (sometimes familial) and the whole subject of 'leuco-erythroblastic anaemia' (H M Turnbull and J M Vaughan). 'Simple achlorhydric anaemias' in children. The formol gel reaction in the blood of hepatic cirrhosis cases etc for comparison. Normal erythropoeisis in foetal or neo-natal life (for comparison with erythroblastosis foetalis)
