About this work

Description

Audio recording of Winnicott giving a lecture, broadly on the subject of the contraceptive pill, but also covering other themes of psychology, behaviour and child/adolescent behaviour and development. Please note that the recording contains language that is reflective of the attitudes of the time, but which modern listeners may find offensive. Winnicott's lecture covers the first hour of the tape and is followed by a talk by Dr Farewell (?), a psychiatrist, on relations between the sexes, at a meeting of the Progressive League, though it is unclear if the two talks are related. The date has been estimated by the cataloguer.
See PP/DWW/P/9a for a digitised copy of this recording.
