29 April, 1942. ANF to Mr Bennett, "Notes on a conversation with Dr J P Lawrie (Editor, Chemical Products and Chemical News) of the Technical Censorship Dept, Ministry of Information". Dr Lawrie observed that whilst the launch of TRC "had excited considerable interest, little had been heard since the first announcement," and thought that "the recent announcement of the formation of ICI (Pharmaceuticals) Ltd had revived interest in the TRC...."
