About this work

Description

Letters from Edgar Schuster, Eugenics Research Fellow, to Eva Biggs [Galton's great-niece], regarding the investigation into sequestrated church property.

Letter dated 17 December: Schuster informs Galton that he has completed the report, but advises that the figures be checked prior to publication, and that 1000 forms would provide a sounder statistical footing. A manuscript draft of Schuster's report is enclosed.

Letter dated 20th December: Schuster advises Eva that he does not want to write an article, and suggests that Galton draft one.

Letter dated 02 January: Schuster returns Galton's manuscript draft of the article which appeared in Nature Vol 79 No. 2046, (14 Jan 1909), p. 308, with his comments.
