Two images on one negative: the first is a reproduction of a photograph showing three forms in which the gastropod Turritella occurs as a fossil. The second is a photograph of  the flying reptile <i>Rhamphorhynchus phyllurus</i> with the delicate wing membranes preserved as an imprint in a fine grand limestone.
